1. Analyzing future trends and drivers (political, economic, social, technological), and continually seeks new applications for company products based on market needs; remains informed about competitor product lines, pricing and positioning of market share and communicates trends to Management.
2. Develops the upstream marketing strategies to build project plans especially in China regulatory process, external business development opportunities, and localization innovations.
3.   Maintains close contact with and understands the needs of the customers and the sales force.
4. Prepares business forecasts plans and pricing proposals for specific products.
5. Develops a successful marketing strategy to meet and implement both short term and long-range objectives for assigned market segment product line(s).
6. Monitors customer requirements for both existing and future products. Develops program and strategies to support global growth of product lines within respective market segment.
7. Remains constantly informed about competitor product lines, pricing, and positioning of market share.
8. Provides product marketing or training presentations to sales representatives, health care professionals, and buying groups to promote product use. Provides necessary education and support to doctors, nurses, and other clinicians in order to promote overall effectiveness of clinical trials.
