ABOUT THIS JOB

At Nielsen we autonomously contribute to analysis that resolves specific Client concerns; serves as a liaison between Commercial team, Quality Assurance, Operations, Engineering, & Data Science teams with regards to Internal and External Client Projects. Working together across functions, our Software Developers research and discover new opportunities, and shape products to fulfill them.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Supports commercial teams in providing technical consultation to solve Data Science-related issues

-End to end support during query resolution, including developing an analysis plan around the problem statement, execution of the analyses, liaising with other departments and preparing final communication.

-Partners with Operations team to research and provide local knowledge

-Collaboratively create and manage projects, from timeline creation to project completion, managing expectations with manager and customer.

-Plays a key role in analytical projects from beginning to end; including developing an analytical plan, running analyses, and summarizing results.

-Compiling and delivering documentation material such as google slides for methodology questions and/or frequently asked questions; supporting basic client service duties as needed; and participating in team projects and staff meetings. 

-Training junior analysts on our databases and systems, efficient methods for extraction and analysis, and Data Science best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS 

-Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, behavioral sciences, statistics, or a related field

-Masters degree in an above mentioned field

-3+ years cross-functional experience

-Well versed with Microsoft Office
