Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years plus solid experience in the China media industry or media related industry such as tracking / audience measurement with ideally a quantified research background and exposure to the principles and practices of audience measurement.?
Contribution to the most innovative and creative communications community in China’s media services
Adoption of SOURCE and its local evolution.
Collaboration with all necessary proprietary tools and mechanics, on a continuous basis.
Leadership on insights and Research requirements for key brands and client businesses
Contribute to annual planning, strategy development, and other insight-led strategic brand assignments
Liaise with Business Directors and Strategists on the correct approaches to client needs and deliver a quantitative solutions?
Good understanding of online metrics and KPI's?Experience of dealing with client data such as tracking or brand health monitors and the linkages between media inputs and brand / consumer outputs is essential.?
Help develop relationships with key PHD Worldwide and regional research teams and identify developments available for import.
Responsible for the management, and utilization of the following insight resources:
Syndicated research.
Integration of Proprietary systems (regional).
Development of Proprietary strategic resources (local)
Ensure integration and development of digitally led insights utilizing OMG strategic business units, and key digital partnerships (Alibaba, Tencent, others)
Develop unique strategic sources and manage internal discipline.
Lead and develop key supplier relationships in this area.
LIKELY profile (but not fixed)
? Working experience in advertising, media, research or brand communication-related industry
? University graduation or above
? Proficiency in English and fluent in Chinese
? Good knowledge and understanding in brand communications, advertising
? Excellent analysis skills of syndicated and other research sources and some ability in manipulating data
? Experience in qualitative research and / or group facilitation would be ideal.
? Strong communication and collaboration skills
? Good in logical thinking and able to present ideas clearly
? Open-minded, embrace creativity and able to think out of the box
? Able to envision market and industry trends
? Able to work under dynamic environment and stressful situations;
