Key Responsibilities
Act as researcher and lead on user research programs. Work with stakeholders to understand project objectives, identify when user and design research should be conducted, and determine appropriate research methods, including but not limited to ethnographic research, contextual interview, co-creation and usability testing
Work with interdisciplinary teams of designers, product owners, engineers for exploratory and validatory research and testing throughout the product development cycle to upgrade the maturity of UX in production
Develop and deploy research plans. Conduct and manage testing, independently or collaborate with other project teams
Analyze and synthesize user research and define appropriate functionality and product requirements to drive short term wins or long term considerations. Analyze research findings, develop insights and present to project teams and stakeholders
Regularly looking outward to identify opportunities for improvement and to incorporate advancements in user research methods and tools
Perform detailed analysis of external products, keep on tracking the market trends of technology and customer’s behavior change
Provide accurate, well-defined, and articulate verbal and written presentations to stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree with an advanced degree preferred in human factors, usability engineering, psychology and/or research
* 5+ years of proven success conducting user research, hands-on experience in survey design/remote user study is a must-have
* Demonstrated proficiency conducting end-user research, including ethnographic research, contextual inquiry, co-creation workshop, concept testing, and usability testing.
* A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables with quantitative and qualitative methodologies
* Extensive experience operating as an individual contributor in a user research role
