Essential Responsibilities

    

? Work closely with respective Product Line SOU Leaders, China Commodity Leaders and Sourcing Quality Engineers to drive OFS Sourcing Strategy Execution through program and projects assignment.

    

? Program Management of key projects or key suppliers, drive every project path including quotation inquiry, key process audit, SCAR closure, raw material stock set up, manufacturing process optimization and pull in resources needed for success, raise up the road blocks, come out the solutions and keep all project progress on the track to grow China Sourcing.

    

? Support OFS China Strategy set up and reviews, implement the agreed sourcing strategy across the team.

    

? Drive the overall payment terms, OFS sourcing process implementations, and data management.

    

? Support Product Company sourcing leaders and China commodity leaders to execute RFQ (Request for Quotation) packages, the quotation comparison, first article qualification, special process audit, contract negotiations and implement Terms & Conditions in line with sourcing strategy.

    

? Support business planning sessions, volume & deflation.

    

? Report out OFS sourcing projects progress, Sourcing Financial, payment terms and Contract negotiations

    

? Screen, identify, and develop potential suppliers to grow China buy for assigned projects.

    

? Conduct business practices in line with integrity and compliance

    

    

Qualifications/Requirements

    

? MS / BA Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Business)

    

? At least 10 years sourcing / operational / manufacturing experience

    

? Cross-functional and International team experience

    

? Oilfield sourcing experience on electrical/mechanical/tools assembly

    

? Process technology expertise on Machining, heat treatment, threading, surface treatment, and other process oilfield tools related

    

? Good Project Management skills

    

? High motivation and influencing skills

    

? Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

    

? Strong team player, Strong communication, interpersonal / facilitation skills

    

? Able to handle multi-task at same time

    

? Proactive and positive self-starter with energy, enthusiasm and ability to execute

    

? Experienced working skills with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and web

    

based tools

    

? Frequent travel required

    

    

Desired Characteristics

    

? Experience in Oil & Gas industry, Power Generation, Aviation, preferred in Oil and Gas industry or equipment manufacturing. Knowledge of the machining, assembly, or electrical is a plus for this role.

    

? Project management experiences

    

? Ability to decode engineering prints / specification / manufacturing processes

    

? Supplier Quality expertise

    

? Buyer background in a heavy manufacturing environment

    

? GB certified (for GE Internal candidates)

    

? OMLP graduates are preferred (For GE Internal candidates)
