Job Description:

Responsible for coordinating hardware engineering activities in Yokogawa Wuxi to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner and act as a primary technical co-ordination interface with Yokogawa Australia Company.

·Conduct hardware architecture designs as per the specifications. Design, create and review cabinet configuration drawings

·Translate initial information into hardware design specifications.

·Work closely with and support the nominated Lead Engineer and Project Manager through all project phases. Work closely with and support the other members of the hardware design team.

·Manage the cabinet construction phase

·Ensure the project conforms to the approved Basis of Design and all Australian applicable regulatory and code requirements.

·Undertake comprehensive internal testing in preparation for customer testing

·Lead the Hardware Factory Acceptance Testing phase, including development of relevant test documentation where applicable. Testing and updating of documentation of all equipment produced by Yokogawa for delivery to the client.

·Liaise with procurement and suppliers on design, availability, delivery, quality and cost

·Work simultaneously across different projects

·Become the "go-to" person for hardware implementation issues for Yokogawa Wuxi and Yokogawa Australia.



Skills and Requirements:

·Bachelor Degree in electrical or electronic fields with 4-5 years experience working on DCS/PLC systems.

·Fluent English ability in listening/speaking/reading/writing.

·Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·Good supervisory skill.

·Familiar with cabinet design.

·Familiar with Microsoft Windows, good knowledge in using Microsoft Office packages, AutoCAD.

·High level of attention to detail

·Ability to work across-multiple projects/teams

·Ability to lead and coordinate a team of engineers

·Effective team player
