职位描述
Position:
Sales Manager East China
Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager of defined area in East China, will report to the Business Director of Formica Asia. The position will be responsible for the sales in the defined area. Future opportunities include to drive the sales development of that defined area by leading a bigger sales team, or to develop sales in other areas of China or Asia.
1) Conduct fundamental analysis of market (e.g. customers, competitors, prices, product requirements, etc.) to build and maintain comprehensive understanding of business in the defined area;
2) Develop sales strategy and define sales target;
3) Develop detailed, multi-stage sales plan to grow the sales and to fulfill the sales target;
4) Pro-actively conduct activities to execute the sales plan, including:
- Actively acquire new customers and support existing customers (eg. furniture manufacturers, etc.);
- Approach potential customers by making use of contact information from the markets, exhibitions, internet, associations, etc.
- Conduct introduction of company and products;
- Make regular visits to defined areas and customers;
- Handle inquiries, prepare offers, and obtain orders;
- Manage sales activity data (e.g. customer background, visit reports, etc.) and conduct sales analysis, etc.
5) work closely with key functions to guarantee the best service to the customers (e.g. Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Vendor Scheduling, Demand, Distribution, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, etc.).
Qualifications
a) 3-5 years of relevant sales and sales management experience in related business in East China (e.g. imported hardware/LPL/PVC foil/edging/wood processing machinery, etc, with kitchen cabinet/wardrobe/residential furniture manufacturers as target customers) with demonstrated record of delivery; 5-10 years of work experience, ideally in the role of sales;
b) Effective field sales skills, especially experience and ability to develop and deal with key accounts (e.g. big-scaled and long-term customers) and to deal with their decision makers;
c) Experience in start-up sales activities is a plus;
d) Knowledge about wood based panel product and market is a plus;
e) Mature, efficient and well organized. High level of integrity and commitment, strong sense of ownership and accountability. Strong initiative and ability to work independently and pro-actively. Goal oriented, and strong problem solving ability;
f) Good strategic sense;
g) Good quantitative and qualitative analytic skills;
h) Effective communication and presentation skills; effective teaming skills;
i) University graduate degree or above in relevant fields from respected institutions;
j) Business fluent English;
k) Good command of computer skills for daily works. Experience with ERP, CRM is a plus.
