Work Location: Shanghai, relocation to project when necessary
Report to: Manager, Commercial
Job Responsibilities: not limited but assigned by supervisor

  Requirements:
? Minimum university degree in Engineering, business or equivalent.

  

? Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree will be an advantage.

? Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

? Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, chemical / oil & gas construction project with local Chinese products procurement will be an advantage.

  

? Familiar with project tendering/bidding procedure and project related contract terms and conditions.

? Well verse with local purchase, tax, custom clearance and job-related local rules and regulations.

? Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services for the Company.

? Negotiates with vendors to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms etc.

  

? Analyses quotations and determines the most suitable and competitive vendors for award recommendation.

? Advises user departments and vendors regarding appropriate purchasing methods and procedures.

? Maintains detailed purchasing records and vendor database.

  

? Experience in dealing with vendor payment, claim settlement and account close out.

? Good written and spoken English.

? Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  

? Knowledge of ERP/SAP.
