Perform network design, configuration, installation and troubleshooting of issues relevant to A10 solutions

Assist in day-to-day meetings with customers as required

Provide technical consultations and presentations as needed

Ensure A10 products are designed, configured and deployed to meet customers’ expectations

Use traffic generators such as Spirent and Ixia for testing during pre-deployment phase.

Drive complex deployments while working side by side with the customers to solve their unique problems across a variety of use cases

Use tools such as Wireshark to analyze networking protocols like TCP, UDP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS, IPSec, PKI, OSPF etc. to successfully complete configuration, execution and troubleshooting of deployment jobs

Collaborate across the entire A10 organization to bring access to product and technical teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation gathered from customer input

Leverage previous experiences, share best practices and create innovative solutions to push user adoption and maximize the value of A10

Required Experience:

4+ years’ experience in Network / System Engineering with an emphasis on post-sales and hands-on track record

Advanced networking skills including strong understanding of the protocols surrounding IP service provider networks and TCP/IP fundamentals 

Good understanding of network technologies such as application delivery controllers (ADCs), firewalls and switching and routing

Experience of routing protocol operation (OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP

Basic knowledge of VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS)

Knowledge of and/or ability to learn up to intermediate level of Python and TCL

BS/MS in a technical field

Desirable Experience:

ADC experience highly desirable

Functional knowledge of Linux, SSL, and migrations

Experience with Wireshark

Helpful if familiar with IP sub-netting and super-netting and hierarchical routing principles
