Financial services related experience criteria:
- Experience in the design and development of Finance function internal controls and related policies and procedures
- Experience in implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9, 16, 17)
- Proficient in foreign banking – branch license application process
- Proficient in asset securitization accounting analysis under Chinese Accounting Standards and accounting process
- Proficient in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Experience in ISAE 3402 custodial services internal control reporting
- Language requirement for Manager: confident in speaking English and proficiency in reading and writing English

In conjunction with our focus on the market and our FSO clients, we are committed to developing and expanding the competencies of our people, focusing on services where the most significant opportunities exist and encouraging a greater advisory focus.
As business advisor, the focus of FSO FAAS is on helping financial services clients to navigate the ever-changing accounting and reporting landscape. Service offerings of FAAS practice include, but not limited to, the following:
- Financial Accounting Excellence
- Implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 4, IFRS 9, IFRS 15)
- Support, design, and development of accounting and reporting policies
- Accounting and reporting processes, systems and related internal controls advisory and support
- Transaction Accounting
- Asset securitization (accounting advisory and due diligence)
- Accounting assistance on mergers & acquisition financial due diligence
- IPO and other public offerings or other refinancing
China FSO FAAS aims to play a key role in assisting and driving Chinese and inbound foreign financial institutions in continuously developing and improving their accounting practices and finance functionality in the fast changing China market. China FSO FAAS team will commit to developing our practice, our people, and working to achieve EY vision 2020 and FAAS goal.
