1. Staff Product Application Engineer (Auto-Sensor)

Location: Shanghai, China

Responsibilities

• Technical product/application specialist for respective product families
• Participate in generating product validation plan and perform product validation measurement
• Generation of technical product documentation like data sheet, white papers, user guides, training material, etc.
• Generate frequently application notes according to volume/profit ranking provided by Product Marketing
• Definition of eval kits and starter kits based on PM requirements
• Technical support for product launch package.
• Technical Backbone for FAEs. Support APAC technical inquiries for the Automotive and Industrial group .
• Provide technical product/application training to field sales/application and customers/partners as well as distribution FAE.
• Create turnkey solutions for customers
• Establish “easy to use” application specific/customized solution for target applications according to volume/profit ranking provided by Product Manager

Requirements

• Relevant educational background

• Degree in Electronical Engineering, Master preferred
• Minimum of 5-10 years professional experiences in this field

• Experience of either sensors signal conditioner, motor driver actuators, power system, uC and analog front end IC, position sensing
• Strong hands-on experience in the lab with mixed-signals silicon evaluation, debugging and bring up.
• Experience in dealing with customer requests and doing technical presentation
• Experienced with lab equipment as high speed scopes (Lecroy, Tektronix), power supply, signal generators, AWG…
• signal integrity related PCB board design and layout knowledge is a plus (Orcad for schematic and Allegro/ Altium for layout)
• Automation in Python or Labview is a plus
• Good communication and technical reporting skills, both written and oral
• High level of self-motivation and drive
• Experience in Circuit Design is a plus.
• Some travel required (~30%)
• Experience in automotive development process and standards, especially ISO 16949 & 26262 is highly appreciated.
• Fluent English
