As part of our continued growth, we seek an Applications Engineer to provide and enable the application supports to the WW FAEs and customers to design-in the PCBG products; and closely work with the Campbell System Engineering team, participate in and contribute to the product development, evaluation, sustaining and quality support, in various phases.

The role

Working in PCBG team based in Shenzhen, you will:

• Document and log all work related to chip evaluations, critical customer issues and feedback to the System and IC Design teams for device modifications and enhancements.
• Assist the design support on standard evaluation boards (EVBs), customized circuitry and demo boards.
• Train and support WW FAEs as needed to win strategic opportunities and to solve customers’ critical issues.
• Participate in the new product development, from new ideas to production release, in different development phases.
• Provide sustaining and quality support in FAR process.
• Provide competitive analysis and collect field feedback/market knowledge for System Design Team.

What we are looking for

• Relevant Hardware/SW experience in designing AC/DC power conversion circuits
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with ability to articulate complex technical subjects in a confident and clear way
• 2-4 years’ Experience in design engineer or Application Engineer role
• Confidence to speak in public (training, seminars etc.)
• Bachelor Degree or above in Electronic Engineering (or relevant discipline) 
• Strong oral/written English skill
