Responsibilities:

·         Support the Asia Compliance Officer in implementing the compliance program and other compliance related matters in Asia with primary focus in China.

·         Collaboratively with various stakeholders, Human Resources, Finance, other internal control functions, manage the implementation of policies and procedures to implement plans to enhance the compliance programs.

·         Assist in Develop and conduct compliance communications and trainings; interact with employees at all levels of the organization and partners to build and increase awareness on the importance of compliance and ethics.

·         Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance topics and the Code of Conduct, with respect to compliance-related questions, including manage 3DS’ Anti-Corruption Gift & Hospitality review & approval program.

·         Conduct investigations of allegations of business misconducts including frauds, bribery and corruption, and conduct interviews of witnesses and subjects, conduct evidence gathering, analysis of data and audit reviews, and write investigative reports with findings and recommended remedial actions.

·         Advise and support HR in conducting investigations involving allegations of unethical behaviors.  

·         Manage due diligence on prospect and existing partners and intermediaries to conduct risk assessment and ensure E&C requirements for new business opportunities and acquisitions.

Experience:

·         Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in compliance or related function, practical investigative work or internal control.

·         Knowledge of regulatory laws, including local anti-corruption laws, China Anti-Unfair Competition Law (AUCL), international laws i.e. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.K. Bribery Act (UKBA), and Loi Sapin II (French Anti-Corruption Law).

·         Experience in conducting investigations including conducting interviews with subjects and witnesses, and data analysis. 

Qualifications:

·         Minimum Education: Undergraduate compliance professional related, preferably with law degree qualifications.

Key Competencies:

·         High standard of integrity and passion for compliance.

·         Good proficiency in verbal and written Chinese (Putonghua) and English.

·         Strong interpersonal, writing and communications skills; ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally and with global, region, and various internal control functions including Legal, HR, Finance, Internal Audit, Order Management, Sourcing & Procurement etc.; ability to clearly articulate and provide compliance advice, and conduct presentations to both executive and operational audiences.

·         Ability to work independently, attention to details, strong analytical power and good problem solving skill.

·         Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and prioritize work assignments as needed to meet deadlines.
