项目工作

Take responsibility for assigned projects of moderate to high complexity, in broad areas of coverage with minimal guidance

· Prepare Statement of Work (SOW) (where applicable)

• Prepare test
  protocols based on information supplied by customer. Confirm customer
  acceptance
• Raise
  laboratory requests for any test work to be performed
• Interpret
  laboratory data and prepare specific test reports. Confirm customer
  acceptance

Maintain close customer and account manager liaison during projects. This will involve some or all of the following:

• Update
  customer of project status in particular if there are problems/issues with
  the project
• Answer
  customer technical questions
• Travel to
  customer site for technical meetings
• Give
  presentations and training
• Lead customer
  discussions and customer site visits to support sales, marketing (or
  Biotech function), as needed

Establish project priorities and decide appropriate action required to meet required target

Schedule work into the laboratory in conjunction with the Laboratory Manager/Supervisor

Update manager of status of assigned projects, including completion, delays or problems

Report project progress (including time spent) using SLS Project Management database

Review and approve protocols and reports

Supporting activities

Maintain up to date knowledge of current regulatory trends, issues and guidelines relating to the products being supported

Develop expertise by regular communication with other Pall groups

Support management in preparation for audits, including document review

Attend training courses as required

Take on ‘special’ projects as requested by management

Assist with training of new staff

Experience to be used anywhere in region (or global) if required

Minimum Qualifications:

· Degree or equivalent in Science/Engineering, 5-8 years relevant work experience

· Prior people management of a team is helpful · Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field · Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services · Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions · Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view · Provides good market knowledge to enhance business operations · Good understanding of competition and how to value add to Biotech, able to think strategically · Able to adapt to various challenging business needs as required · Excellent knowledge of laboratory techniques and measurement methods · Good written and verbal communication · Good interpersonal skills · Fluent English, able to present in English when called upon · Self starter and self motivated · Conversant with PC based programmes
