As a Sales Technical Support Engineer, ABB Motors and Generators deliver a complete range of motors, generators and mechanical power transmission products for all industries and applications. We provide the highest quality and service to our customers all around the world, with a focus on helping to use energy more efficiently.

You will be the technical point person for the Sales organization in Large Motors & Generators Product Group/ Motors & Generators Business Line/ Motion Business in Shanghai/China country/NAS region. You will support local Sales teams and customers by advising on technical options and cost-effective solutions.

- Preparing comments & deviation according.to customer specification for sales projects.
- Using factory design tools to design and provide technical solution according to customer requirements to complete sales offering.
- Supporting sales to do technical clarification to customer.
- Executing technical solution quality improvement projects to improve customer satisfaction.
- Working as a contact window between sales and factory to secure smooth implementation of sales projects.
- Narrowing factory manufacturing gap enlarge factory technical offering.
- Designing useful tools/apps for easy, smart selling and conducting training & technical communication to customer to increase customer satisfaction.
- Making proposals on industry customized products by fully analyzing market needs and industry feature.
- Supporting PG finance controller to prepare risk review assessment and conducting product-level competitive analysis.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, major in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- Experience in Electrical Machine Design and Machine Application is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels.
- Enthusiastic, innovative and able to change.
- Ability to work globally within different cultures.
- Good in English.
