Work on real customer projects using machine learning, actionable data analytics, and search technology to demonstrate the business values our Solutions deliver. Transfer skills by sharing knowledge internally, with our clients and partners. Become a trusted advisor on key engagements you will be working on.

What will your role be?

Provide technical expertise and consultative selling skills to support and advise our client executives on technical solutions and business value, leveraging deep brand expertise and industry process knowledge, in concert with the 3DS industry and EXALEAD team. Contribute to the identification and qualification of opportunities and help our sales to establish a technical win plan for our customers. Demonstrate leadership and propose change recommendations to clients based on in-depth understanding of their business processes and IT environment and knowledge of the 3DS portfolio of 3DEXPERIENCE solutions. Hands on technical expert with a passion to deliver through deploying, configuring, and actual programming of our data intelligence software solutions.

The Challenges Ahead

Focus on the front-end of the sales cycle listening to our clients, understanding their business requirements and forming incremental more detailed definitions of the solution. Collaborate with sales teams to maximize solution pipeline globally by identifying and qualifying opportunities. Provide technical direction and leadership for complex sales engagements such as RFP response, proof of technology and proof of concepts. Participate in technical solution reviews. Engage and support 3DS solution architects for developing concepts based on modern technology architectures. Lead with solution design to address the client business challenges. Become an expert in 3DEXPERIENCE technology delivering social collaboration, business dashboarding, and lifecycle management to our clients across many industries. 

 

What key success factors? 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Master of Science in engineering or similar a plus. Strong engineering background including knowledge in analytics for PLM and/or other engineering disciplines. 5+ years of relevant work experience including a technical sales (pre-sales) role in engineering and/or supply chain domain. Excellent communication and presentation skills – you are a German native speaker and fluent in English. Self-starter, able to work in a technical sales team. Willing to collaborate.

Development experience - knowledge in Java, JSP, taglibs, HTML5 technologies is an advantage. Familiar with databases, UML models, web services & different data format (CSV, XML, JSON, …). Proficient in a scripting language such as JavaScript a plus.  Solid technical foundation with the ability to install, configure and customize software based on java application stacks (DASSAULT SYSTEMES 3DEXPERIENCE stack a plus). PLM/PDM industry experience. Machine learning knowledge advantages but not required- opportunity to learn.
