You will be part of the Motion Business and Motors & Generators Business Line (BL), based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry

- Assessing and auditing new suppliers to support sourcing for casting or winding stator /rotor category. Performing supplier audits, identifying non-conformities and areas of potential risks in supplier processes and quality system. Actively drive the supplier to find out root cause of the quality deviation, provide suggestions to supplier for improvement and reducing defects, follow up the effectiveness of corrective actions. Devote to Supplier OQD performance tracking, Gathering, analyses, monitoring, measuring and reporting the performance data of suppliers and aggressively drive supplier for OQD analyses & improving as necessary.
- Close work with incoming inspection to optimize IQC procedure and handle internal NCR process. Supporting and developing suppliers in establishing improvement programs, verifying implementation of quality improvement programs at suppliers. Close collaborating within Global SQM Team to achieve most area standardization.
- Care about this commodity from global perspective. Responsibility of expertise in category. Run big incidents or complex projects within category. Management for all suppliers PPAP and ensuring they are submitted on time and all requirements have been met, as an executive summary. Responsible for quality planning, especially for new supplier development. Create close link between the procurement category responsible, engineering, R&D and Sourcing
- Definition of Supplier quality handbook. Assuring specifications are ok and communicated. Assuring quality requirements in contracts. Reporting on performance. Escalation at underperforming

- Bachelor’s Degree in Major in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering etc
- or related field.
- 4+ years of working experience or technical background with equivalent working experience in manufacturing environment is required. Internal Auditor experience is required.
- Casting process background is the 1st priority, and with machining process knowledge will be better.
- Strong knowledge of quality and manufacturing tools such as SPC, FMEA, CP, Pokeyoke, Pareto analysis, cause and affect analysis, fishbone diagrams, PPAP.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required and be able to provide presentations and reporting to senior staff and suppliers.
- Familiar with SAP system and basic Computer skills including Excel Processing and Spreadsheets required outlook, etc.
- Certain level of traveling mainly due to global meetings, supplier visits and training.
