职位描述

Responsibility

1.Support China Zone CFO/COO in providing financial reporting and analysis to the China leadership teams to help manage the lines of businesses (LOB) and to improve profitability as well as to support strategic initiatives for financial modelling.

2.Act as a key financial business partner to LOB leaders to provide reporting and analytical support and help to manage their budget, forecast and monthly business review.

3.Understand Mercer business model and financial systems and related data sources. Build strong working relationship with business operations teams and controllership team and collaborate on various reporting and analytical works.

4.Cooperate with other team members in Asia zone finance team on zone level initiatives.

5.Provide coaching to junior financial analysts.

Requirements

1.Ideally Master degree in Business/Finance

2.5-7 years’ experience in a financial business partner role; experience in dealing with senior business leaders directly

3.Assesses application of financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations. Implements financial forecast and budget processes, to support standardization of processes and outcomes. Communicates with senior management on a consistent basis on business financial performance, to ensure sound fiscal management.

Evaluates financial model in Strategic Plan by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.

Conducts the month end close process by preparing customized reports, researching complex general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.

Provides reporting and analytical support on any additional strategic/financial initiatives that are requested of the FP&A team.

Recommends financial actions by analysing and interpreting financial data, making comparative analyses, offering alternatives, and preparing financial plans. Prepares financial planning information and reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends. Develops budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts. Reconciles financial transactions by comparing and correcting data.

Improves financial planning job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

4.Must be have strong to advanced Excel skills and Hyperion / Smart View experience
