JOB PURPOSE: As an CPPD (Concurrent Product and Process Development) Engineer, you will begin to shift from learning and assisting to fully contributing to solving technical problems while growing your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts. You will partner with and provide technical guidance to global teams. You will continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology. You will also continue to grow your professional network.

In this role, you will also deepen your knowledge base of Caterpillar’s products, technologies, processes, services and systems, which you will use to:
· Begin partnering with and providing technical guidance within and between teams;
· Gather relevant information, compare and contrast data, identify relationships and predict performance;
· Evaluate new products, processes, or systems;
· Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units;
· Contribute to the design of new products and processes; and
· Perform product and process maintenance.


Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in an accredited Engineering, mechanical designing or above with at least 3 years working experience.
· Have clear career planning and strong initiative to the work.
· Have Engineering or design background, can understand the drawing / GD&T /tolerance stack up very well.
· Familiar with EBOM /MBEOM structure and change process
· Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PPT.
· Have NPI, localization, or resourcing project management experience before or play a key role at the project once .
· Have organized planning to daily work and with logical mind to deal with issues.
· Fluent spoken English and good listening comprehension
· Have casting/ fabrication/ welding/painting knowledge or working experience is preferred.
