As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Robotics & Discrete Automation Business and Robotics Business Line (BL), based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will provide vital support on projects within the Robot Systems Paint (RS-PPA) Product Group/ Robotics Business Line (BL)/ Robotics & Discrete Automation Business in Shanghai /China country/NAS region. You will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.

- To form project team, coordinate with the internal engineers with operation department, coordinate with the purchasing for external contractors for engineering support.
- To establish project planning and maintain the planning dynamically. Responsible to achieve internally and externally the execution of project planning.
- To establish the budget plan with internal proposal team, SCM and controlling team, dynamically adjust and control the budget and costs. To take responsibility of daily project management activity including design review, resources review, purchasing requisition, following customer for contract, response to technical questions, issues and payments.
- To be in charge of change of scope, following company’s process on change management. To establish risk management, build mitigation plan.
- To build project team. To build and maintain customer relationship. To coordinate internal supporting function, especially with purchasing department for timing and costing control. To coach other team members on analytical thinking, decision making process.

- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree of Science, Engineering Study, Mechanical background from a reputed university is preferred.
- 5+ years of working experience, 3+ years of Project Management experience (If Master’s Degree, 1-2 years can be waivered).
- 2+ years of foreign companies working experience, familiar with ERP tools such as SAP system and American & European company preferred.
- Experience in Project management proved by certificate of Worldwide company or PMI.
- Strong leadership, decisive and analytical skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
