Job Duties
Parts & Services Sales
· Provide technical support to customers and Service personnel in respect of ETO spare parts, wear parts and field services.
· Respond to direct telephone and written customer enquiries.
· Receive and complete telephone orders for ETO parts.
· Ascertain machine, part and reference numbers by reading catalogue or parts manual to determine parts needed, according to description, installed machine base and purchase history.
· Discuss uses and features of various parts with customers.
· Submit enquiry to vendors for availability, cost and pricing for relevant parts.
· Liaise with ETO Services Manager or relating overseas Metso divisions as to gross margins, market prices and delivery priorities when required.
· Provide spares and wears quotations by SAP system to customers by consulting with ETO Services Manager.
· Follow up on quotations to customers in order that sales opportunities are not lost.
· Negotiate with the customer about the price, shipment, payment and so on.
· Make the sales contracts and follow up payment
· Apply for new customer and new item in SAP system
· Forward Contract Administrator the sales contracts for purchasing and shipment.
· Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available.
· Tasks assigned by ETO Services Manager
· Develop new relationship to promote sales on Parts & Services
Administration
· Liaise with customers, Accounting, ETO Services Manager and relating overseas Metso divisions in respect of warranty and credit notes.
· Request credit notes and ensures that invoice discrepancies are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
· Expedite delivery of information of spare and wear parts to customers, ETO Services Manager and relating overseas Metso divisions in a timely manner.
· Produce routine reports of sales and enquiries to the ETO Services Manager, or General Manager.
Qualification and Experience
Essential
· At least 2-3 years of experience in a customer service industry and related experience and/or training.
Desirable
· Technology or Trade certificate from college or technical school;
· Experience working in the mining or similar industry.
Skill and ability
· Excellent customer relation skills.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, parts manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Excellent telephone manners.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.
· Excellent organizing and planning skills to meet tight deadlines.
· Proficient in the use of MS Office, databases, spreadsheets and e-mail, preferably Lotus Notes.
· Sound problems solving and analytical skills.
· Good negotiation skills
· Good communication skills - Chinese and written English.
· Good interpersonal skills
