key responsibilities

Areas of specific responsibility and attention will include the following:

· In charge of the early stage discovery process, from microbial strain discovery, validation, to pre-development of commercialized product/service.

· Provide visionary leadership to the R&D functions, ensure strategic alignment between research and business direction.

· Responsible for R&D team recruitment and management.  Ensure the team has appropriate functional and management capabilities (talent, structure, process, and institutional knowledge) for maximal effectiveness.

· Determine R&D growth strategies and manage day-to-day operational issues as they occur. Enable cross-disciplinary collaboration and accountability for high quality output.

· Oversee and manage the budgets for all R&D functions.

· Be accountable for the highest level of execution of regulatory strategies, and standards of quality compliance.

· Continue to foster and build on existing partnerships and cultivate outsourcing opportunities.

· Help elevate the profile and position of MoonBiotech with the Medical Community, Regulatory Agencies and other key stakeholders.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Key requirements will include:

· More than 10 years of experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical drug discovery and development.

· More than 5 years of experience in leading a drug development team.

· Experience in directing pre-clinical researches of biological drugs.

· Familiarity in field of microbiology and understand the role of microbiome in human health.

· Work experience in microbiome company is preferred.

EDUCATION

· Degrees in related science filed from leading universities is required.
