Directly Subordinates: 5-10
Role Summary:
In accordance with company's strategy, this role takes responsible for maximizing return on investment, profit and loss, daily operations, people development, and building and sustaining a culture that is engaging and encourages innovation and sharing. This individual actively seeks out opportunities to improve and optimize store operating model, critical store support operations, and actively seeks out ways to optimize store performance. Accountable for ensuring that Services offerings deliver required financial results and customer experience.
Responsibility:
1. Development of the strategy for retail, store operation and services according to company's overall strategy and plan to continuously improve the customer and employee experience.
2. Drive the implementation of company's retail, store operation and service strategy to ensure the achievement of various financial targets for sales, profit and cost control etc. by creating a best in market customer experience
3. To undertake the talent development for retail, operation and service system to set up a healthy and stable middle and senior management talent pool
4. To build and sustain the environment and culture that foster trust, innovation, collaboration and empowerment to raise morale and engagement.
5. To support all key business partners within the company to ensure the achievement of company's various performance targets.
Management factors
1. Store VP/Sr. Director, Retail Operation Director and Service Director in Headquarter all reports to this role owner.
2. The direct subordinates of this role covers 5-10 senior management staff, indirect subordinates are over 6000 staff.
Desired Skills & Experience:
1) Education background:
Bachelor degree or above
2) Working experience:
Over 10-year relevant working experience in large scale retailing industry
3) Capability and quality:
-With rich retailing industry management experience, be familiar with the operational characteristics of Chinese retailing enterprise and the overseas best practices in the industry;
-Work with passion and be able to undertake pressure, willing to accept the challenges;
-With strong target-consciousness and sense of responsibility;
-Be capable to work in the bilingual language working environment (Chinese and English).
4) Prefer the Candidate come from Retail / Department store / supermarket industry or FMCG (Top500).
