职位描述

Position Title: Finance Controller
Report to:CFO (Base in China), International Controller (Base in American)
Directly Subordinates: 8-10
Indirectly Subordinates: 300

Role Summary:
This position is responsible for corporate accounting operations, vendor AR&AP, GNFR payment processing, accounting, reporting, taxation and corporate governance as a consolidated entity and for the districts that report into the central office. This role ensures that correct accounting practices are implemented and followed (PRC GAAP, US GAAP and Enterprise policy), ensures proper transaction processing and collection of receivables and acts as a key contact with Accounting and Tax personnel. This position also manages the relationship with Internal and External Auditors.

Responsibility:
1) Leads the objectives, priorities and outcomes of teams including: Accounting and Reporting, Vendor A/R and A/P, GNFR payables, Tax, Repair and Installation, Expense Payables, Wholesale Accounting, District Accounting, and Compliance (Sarbanes Oxley [SOX], Finance standard operating policies [SOP], business unit representation letter).
2) Leads recruitment, selection, recognition and retention of organization across central office and districts with the objective of increasing the team talent to prepare for mid-term objectives of the organization. Manages performance, and provides proper training and development for associates.
3) Leads the development and implementation of internal controls to mitigate both financial and business risks within Five Star's processes. This includes implementation of and subsequent adherence to controls and processes across the central office and districts that are compliant with SOX and SOP.
4) Leads the recognition of and subsequent collection of vendor receivables for rebates, holiday promotions and other forms of support from vendors in compliance with proper internal controls and operational efficiency to ensure maximal collection.
5) Develops overall department's objectives and plans. Designs and executes strategy and tactics to ensure that objectives are accomplished in an efficient manner, after considering all business risks.
6) Partners with International Controllership to ensure Enterprise reporting and corporate governance needs are satisfied, integrity of financials and effectiveness of internal controls is substantiated and objectives for the teams are aligned.
7) Partners with Enterprise teams and IT to enhance the ability for systems to achieve the objectives of Finance, including efficiency, financial control and performance management.

Acquirements:
1) PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
12+ years Accounting background with broad experience, including:
Multinational company experience with role in a US, UK, Canadian or Australian market;
Public accounting experience in a major firm;
Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP;
Extensive knowledge of internal controls and corporate governance;
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferred.
2) STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITY:
This role will set strategy in own function, in district offices and will contribute to the strategy in many other departments as a leader in a Finance function.
3) FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
The leader of this team must be able to design and implement proper, effective and efficient controls across many areas of discipline and also must be highly proficient in US GAAP or IFRS in order to ensure the proper.
4) BUSINESS EXPERTISE:
Given the breadth of areas led and the high integration with Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Ops and other teams, a strong understanding of how the Team improves the functions with it partners is key.
5) PROBLEM SOLVING:
The business and processes are highly complex and improvements have been slow and challenging given the systems, talent and areas each affects. Strong problem solving will enable success.
6) NATURE OF IMPACT:
This role leads the teams that drive the recognition and collection of the contracts and agreements that are the substance operating income and balance sheet risks.
7) INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
The ability to be successful in this role will be directly related to the ability to understand and influence the leaders of the other departments and the counterparts at our vendors.
8) Fluent writing& verbal English.
9) Preferred the Candidate come from Retail / Department store / supermarket industry or FMCG (Top500) .
