This position will lead connected vehicle feature design and implementation for China market with focuses on V2X and connected navigation. It will primarily interface with PD EESE, IT Operation, MPP, program, GDIA and suppliers to ensure timely deliverables with quality. 

Key roles and responsibilities:
 - Support local deployment of connected vehicle features including requirement analysis, development and resource planning

 - Explore and apply various V2X and connected navigation features for China market

 - Coordinate cross functional work streams in delivering key components for connected vehicle features, which may include IVI software, mobile app and backend systems

 - Prepare status report for regular management review

 - Closely monitor V2X and telecommunication industrial trend and ensure competitive advantage in China market by applying key performance matrics and doing usage data analysis

 - Explore and maintain partnerships with carrier, TSP, telecommunication equipment manufactures

Area of professional exposure (technical skills) : 
- An extensive knowledge base in manufacturing, telecommunication and software engineering
 - Familiarity with telematics industry and China market offerings
 - Basic understanding of internet product design and operation including account, payment, call center, etc.
 - Strong interest in mobile internet and telematics
 - Familarity with software engineering, angile development and tools or hands-on coding experience(C/C++/Python/Java) could be a plus
 
Functional skills : 
- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
- Familiarity with decision making process in corresponding organizations
 - Ability to triage, analyze system issues, and make proper assignment to different component owners
 - Highly fluent oral and written English
 
Job specific skills : 
- Familiarity with 4G/5G cellular network and institutional setup
- Familiarity with telecommunication industry and necessary insights of chipset capability and time table
