As a PMU Operation Manager, you will be part of the Industrial Automation (IA) Business and Measurement & Analytics Business Line (BL) based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) Business delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

You will lead a team within the Instrumentation Product Group/ Measurement & Analytics Business Line (BL) / Industrial Automation (IA) Business in the execution of production processes. You will support the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, and cost-effective manner.

? Responsible for developing business action plans for PMU aligned with Division/Business Unit/Product Group strategy and targets. Monitor implementation and tracks any deviations for corrective action
? Prepare annual budget, oversees progress, and determine actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.
? Develop programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead PMU to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations. Ensure that the organization take an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels, lead time and delivery, has a full understanding of culture of continuous improvement behaviors, methodology and processes.
? Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results. Assess risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety.
? Provide support to Sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements in order to identify both potential constraint and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view.
? Create and maintain a positive work environment for PMU. Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
? Build up high quality culture and drive process quality, product quality and people competency improvement to meet customer and business need.

? University Degree with major in Engineering/Mechanical or Electronic background.
? 10+ years of experience in multinational companies in manufacturing and related professional and Supervisory/Managerial experience.
? Proven record in achieve key performance metrics and drive for continuous improvement.
? Knowledge of manufacturing each functional and process.
? Demonstrated ability to influence the directions and attainment of objectives without having direct control over resources.
? Strong leadership capability.
? Good knowledge and experience in strategy thinking, implementation, business process improvement, and operational excellence.
? Fostering teamwork and diversity, ability to work in groups.
? Able to coach, mentor team member and manage change effectively.
? Have strong sense of ownership to delivery results.
? Customer focus, meets expectations, internally and externally forms partnership.
? Strong communication skills providing timely and concise information to others.
? Good in planning and organizing.
? Fluent in communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
