Chinese national - Chinese media communication internship



Vandergeeten and EG DistriSelecta (its sister company) are a leading distributor of fine European beverages and confectionary products. We import global brands of chocolate, beer, ice cream, biscuits and water, with an emphasis on Belgian specialty beers and fine chocolates. We are the official distributor of AB-InBev in China since 2007 for their imported and global beer brands, such as Stella Artois and Hoegaarden. We also own the distribution rights for KRAFT Foods, including Toblerone and Cote d'Or. The internship position is as follow:

- Management of the company's Weibo

- Research local media on competitors and our brands

- Market research

- Contact Chinese medias

- Translation

- Support on establishing adequate marketing tools in Chinese

Skills:

- Autonomy

- Proficient English speaking

- Strong interest in digital medias

- Good written skills

The internship can start as soon as possible. Availability part-time or full-time negotiable, but for at least three months. The internship is unpaid.






Foreign or Chinese national - Marketing assistant internship

- Assist the marketing department in brainstorming, budgeting, implementing and reporting about promotions

- Responsible for the company's web projects: e-newsletter, monthly websites reporting

- In charge of weekly press reviews, creating media kits and punctual special products and clients presentations

- Assist in organising and carrying out events

- Monitor and report about main competitors and F&B related events in Beijing and Shanghai



Main Skills:

- Autonomy

- Spoken Chinese (able to pass a phone call to organise practical matters)

- Proficient English (working language)
