Major responsibilities:
The recruited will be a STC (Spirent TestCenter) embedded software development engineer and will be focus to deliver the STC related features on Spirent TestCenter product in SPIACE market segment (Routing/Access/MetroE) as a start point.
? Understanding the marketing requirement reflecting with SPIACE market segment, and draft corresponding feature’s specification.
? Write the low level design documentation for features, and identify the possible changes required by application software.
? Performing on coding and unit testing, make sure the feature can be delivered with quality on time.
? Support internal and external customers on software issues and provide the solutions.

Job requirement:

? Proven track record of telecommunications, test industry and customer testing requirements and test methodologies.
? Strong knowledge in TCP/IP Protocol Suite.
? Be good at C/C++ skills. Experience with TCL/Python/Go is a plus.
? Familiar with at least one software developing model. Structured design process including planning, design documentation, structured reviews, code version control systems, unit testing, integration testing, problem tracking and resolution.
? Competency with Microsoft Office applications (including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications software)
? Good attention to detail and strong desire to make things happen
? Demonstrated verbal, written and group presentation skills.
? Excellent English in both written and oral.
? Computer Science or Engineering degree is required, Bachelor or above.
? At least 2 years of software development experience
