Role Summary/Purpose

Senior program manager Beijing, and local accounts. Responsible for management of employee training, skill sets and resources, unit business performance, provide technical support, process improvements to cross functional GE teams. The leader must be proficient as both a technical support engineer, and technical support representative. The leader ensures a compliant operation, effective escalation and issue resolution, and is responsible for HR functions; staffing and performance.

Essential Responsibilities

Functions as a field service engineer (FSE) designated as the primary GE on site manager assigned to a major customer account or group of accounts. Provide program leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other GE field personnel in the operation, inspection, and repair of assigned product lines. Responsible for all GE products/programs, with assigned customer(s). Provide single point of contact to the customer, customer team, and all other GE stakeholders. Able to instruct on more than one GE product and is expected to develop required skill sets for assigned FSE’s. Provide experienced program management for major accounts, normally consisting of several GE product lines assigned to a major customer or sizable group of customers. Regarded as an “expert” in proper operation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of assigned product and ground support equipment. Review reported malfunctions and assist with fault analysis. Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs and improve maintenance practices. Assist customer with fleet management to include workscope reviews, maintenance scheduling, and staggering workloads. Monitor test cell operations and RFI planning as required. Provide senior council regarding decisions affecting time in use, removals and overall fleet management. Apply analytical tools to assist the customer with root cause analysis, issue resolution and trend analysis. Assist the factory with data collection, timely reporting, insight to support performance analysis, and providing marketing/sales opportunities for assigned products, services and support. Instruct other FSE’s on correct use of the field service reporting system (FS connect). Instruct customer on the use of business tools for spare parts ordering, issue resolution, and provisioning. Lead and mentor on site team or off site group.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college (with at least 4 years of experience in a field service or maintenance position).At least 5 additional years of experience with operations and maintenance of GE products.At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or project management role.Willingness and ability to travel.
