Job Description for Marketing Manager
Report to: GENERAL MANAGER
Department: Marketing
General Responsibility;
Promotes company involvements in Chinese commerce. Conducts market outreach and project driven Chinese business development.
Essential Duties
? Develop marketing and service policies, programs and systems to support strategic direction.
? Partner with management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to Gorbel Dealers and End Users.
? Manages and directs marketing and service policy deployment, product positioning and product development.
? Develops annual marketing and service plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
? Directs implementation and execution of marketing and service policies and practices.
? Ensures marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
? Develops and manages pricing structures.
? Provides leadership and support for the design, development and implementation of products and service lines, when it is required.
? Responsible for competitor market intelligence and analysis
? Builds, develops and manages marketing team capable of carrying out needed marketing and service strategies.
? Manages marketing department including development and distribution of all marketing collateral.
? Is an active member of Gorbel Tianjin's Management Team, and Strategic Planning.
? Responsible for leads generation in China
? Responsible for the development, SEO, content and position in search engines of the Gorbel China website
? Develop and implement Marketing Plan and Budget
? Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages and directs staff including recruitment, selection and development to achieve company goals.
Competency:
? Has good ability and strong willingness to learn new acknowledge. Is a quick learner, not fear the challenge.
? Has good interpersonal skill to communicate with internal and external customers.
? Has good presentation skill to describe his or her own opinion inside and outside the company. Is able to control the status facilitating the meeting and discussions.
? Has good writing ability in Chinese and English. Capable to transfer the messages, in order to get the result he or she desires.
? Understand how prioritize the works. Can concentrate the effort on the high ranking works. Know how to manage his or her time.
? Know how to collect the information through the different channels.
? Result focus.
Basic Requirement:
Both of English, Chinese background with knowledge of language and culture.
Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Background in business development preferred.
Ability to travel in China.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
