Mission
The Planning Project Engineer (RPP) is responsible of the planning - resource (manpower and means) by leading the actions necessary to their establishment, their consolidation and their piloting.


Responsibilities
- Sets up the project planning according to the recommended methodology,
- Pilots the planning respect of the development key stages and the budget resources respect (manpower and means),
- Sets up and finalize the contractual relationship of program with internal working function teams about the - - - esources objectives.
- Sets up and finalize the technical documentation of the licence contract with the JV concerned
- Ensures the control of the good execution of deliverables negotiated,
- Proposes and implements the preventive or curative action plans necessary to obtain the project timing - resources objective,
- Animates the planning level 2 with the key project actors for sub-system and component activities.
- Pilot the synthesis of the prototype needs, pre-productions and special vehicles (journalist vehicles for example),
- Pilot the launchings scenario (dates of launchings and volumes associated).


Main activities
The Vehicle RPP is hierarchically attached to the PVAS Core Team and operationally attached to the Project Manager. That RPP have to
- In relation with the internal working function team managers, set up the general planning of the Project by adaptation of the SOD and set up the construction of the means planning,
- Pilot the planning set up of the project, define the timing objectives and follow the relative action plans,
- Distribute and affects the multiannual framed project resource in coherence with the project deadlines,
- Establish the relationship with internal working function teams, formalized in an engineering contract, defining the deliverable and the planning - resources KPI
- Establish the relationship with the JV related to the project, formalized in the technical appendix of the license contract, defining the PSA deliverable to the concerned JV,
- Set up and animate the communication of the timing - resource project information to the internal working function team,
- Control the good execution of deliveries negotiated,
- Build and optimize the prototypes means plan and communicate officially the need to PSA prototype team and/or the JV one,
- Pilot the pre productions needs for the project,
- Define and implements the scenario of the project launchings (dates and volumes),
- Alert the project team of any drift in terms of timing or resource consumption,
- Elaborate and pilot preventive or curative action plans necessary to obtain the planning - resource objectives based on a formalized approach of risk analysis in relation with the Project Quality Manager,
- Manages operationally the planning pilot placed under his responsibility.


Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years automotive engineering and product development related experience
- 3 years plus direct Project Planning Manager or Project Management experience with MNO or tier one suppliers
- Experienced in automotive product development processes and major milestone/deliverables
- Engineering degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, and business management or related fields, Master degree or MBA plus
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity with motivation, can work independently with limited supervision,
- Fluent English in oral and writing, French capable big plus
- TOEIC is preferred
