Mission:
Working for the Project manager, in the field of the job share that has been defined between local project and Europe, the Projects Planning and Configuration Manager is:
1. Responsible for achieving schedule objectives and resource objectives, on the perimeter of a family of power train (engines, gearboxes), carrying out necessary actions for establishment, consolidation and control.
2. In charge of prototype means configurations and responsible for their management in the same perimeter.


Major Responsibilities:
1. Concerning planning and resources management :
-- Built project's (engines, gearboxes) planning and resources budget by applying the process and operational standards of Power Train and Chassis Direction (DCTC), and guarantee the feasibility,
-- Allows resources according to the engineering contract and project's timing objectives,
-- Manage the responses for the new Product (DEX) and Process (CVRF) requests, and guarantee the feasibility,
-- Pilot the synthesis of the launch scenario including (launch dates and volumes concerned),
-- Ensure for the count of the Chief Engineer the correct execution of the projects deliverables, respecting project's timing and allowed resources,
-- Negotiate with project's customers and prototypes means suppliers in order to make project's needs match with project's budget and suppliers realizing capacities,
-- Ensure the delivery of the prototype means, particularly :
- Collect the requests among the project team (RPF, RILO, RPI), partners and project customers (vehicles...)
- Construct the synthesis between the request and capacity of realizations of the prototype entities, and participate in the convergence of prototype programs,
- Formalize the means and their dates of availability,
- Pilot the respect of means delivery dates, and ensure the reporting to prototypes suppliers customers, and manage the adjudgment between all project's customers,
-- Guarantee the planning convergence of the Plan of Modelization, Integration and Validation (PMIV) and ensure its pilotage for the count of the Chief Engineer and project's technical manager (RPF, RILO).

2. Concerning means configuration management :
-- Define and plan means configuration targets for each project's prototypes phases,
-- Manage prototypes modifications, and ensure the traceability of project's decisions,
-- Ensure the configuration management of each configuration's articles on its perimeter (Engine or gearbox bill of materials, engine or gearbox testing book, engine or gearbox diversity tree....),
-- Define the configuration of the prototype means and ensure the piloting of their realization :
- Collect and negotiate prototypes configuration requests for each mean needed by all customers (powertrain project, vehicle projects...)
- formalize and guarantee the composition of each prototype means,
- Establish, negotiate and ensure that major realization gates are respected,
- Report means delivery dates to the project team,
- Control that applied prototypes process is respected,
- In case of mater, pilot recovery plans,
- Check that delivered means is conformed to configuration need, and valid means delivery

NB : the mission covers the entire activities of the powertrain family :
- The projects since their openings
- The launch of the first application and the following launch
- The activities of serial life of the launched organ.


Qualifications:
- 5 - 8 years automotive engineering and product development related experience
- 3 years plus direct Project Planning & Configuration Manager or Project Management experience in the engine and/or the gear pox perimeter
- Experienced in automotive product development processes, planning and configuration management.
- Engineering degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, and business management or related fields, Master degree or MBA plus
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity with motivation, can work independently with limited supervision,
- Fluent English in oral and writing, French capable big plus
- TOEIC is preferred
