Description

Quintiles pioneered the idea of helping pharma companies conduct objective clinical trials to establish not only whether a drug is effective, but who can take it safely. Business Development, Manager

Job Responsibilities:
Involved in the implementation of sales plan to develop business opportunities in China
Establish and build strong business relationships with customers and potential customers.
Coordinate study specific feasibilities with the feasibility department prior to preparing a proposal to an internal or external clients
Prepare regular reports and analyses of new business achievements, opportunities and targets.
Co-ordinate and prepare costing and proposals as requested.
Prepare information as needed for customer and proposal meetings.
Communicate proposals to customers and negotiates with customers to achieve a successful resolution.
Prepare sales presentations, website, brochures, organising meetings, database entry for client visits
Liaise with therapeutic associations for issues like sponsorships of events, contributions for annual meetings
Liaise with pharmaceutical media for issues like advertisements, space bookings, special issues
Prepare and update therapeutic area specific dossier containing related information which would assist the business developers in more efficient selling to external and internal customers.
Provide ongoing client liaison and "account management" for specified companies /organizations
Qualifications

Bachelors with clinical or pharmaceutical sales background.
Minimum 2-4 years experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and work within a matrix team environment required.
Advanced computer knowledge including experience with MS Office software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese languages.
Ability to travel as and when required
