Position Summary:
The Cloud Platform Implementation Engineer will function as a member of the Cloud Architecture Group on the WW Cloud Services team. The Cloud Platform Implementation Engineer will serve as the key resource working on client projects focused on the implementation of the cloud orchestration framework and integration with client' s server, networking, and storage resources. The Cloud Platform Implementation Engineer must be able to multi-task across several client projects at any given time.

The Cloud Platform Implementation Engineer will be responsible for working with Company cross-functional teams (Consulting, Product Management, Product Engineering, Tech Support, and Sales Engineering) as well as Company Partners and other industry organizations to deploy Company Cloud technologies. They must develop subject matter expertise in not only Company products but also complimentary and competitive technologies.

A key focal point will be the in the development and delivery of Company Cloud Platform solutions. The Cloud Platform Implementation Engineer may also be called upon to assist in the development of best practices for new product releases, support knowledge transfer events, provide product feedback, and serve as overall Company technology evangelist. This position will require strong technical aptitude, analytical and problem solving capabilities, project planning, people management skills, effective understanding of methodology, and ability to communicate the Company Cloud Platform Technical Architecture to any level within partner and client organizations.

Technical Knowledge Acquisition:
1. Build and maintain relationships with Product Management and Product Engineering Teams to develop a deeper understanding of Company solutions.
2. Review functional specifications and reference architectures from Product Engineering to obtain a deep technical understanding of Company Cloud Platform Architecture.
3. Maintain a lab to enable hands-on experience with new Company products and technologies.
4. Attend third-party technology conferences to stay abreast of IT trends and the competitive landscape.
5. Perform independent research to ascertain how Company products interact with other IT systems.
6. Participate in technical reviews of product documentation and courseware.
7. Maintain relevant technical certifications.
