We have a great opportunity for an experienced Market Development Manager for our high performance product families, based in Shanghai, China. Tektronix will invest in your personal and professional growth by providing you with education and training opportunities to keep current in your field. Responsibilities
?Establish the strategy and priorities for high performance products/solutions targeting key market Segments (e.g. Datacenter/Optical Communications, IC/Semiconductor, Advanced Research) and key Applications (e.g. High Speed Serial, RF/Wireless, Material Science/Quantum). Clearly identify why we play (prioritize target market opportunities) and how we win (competitive positioning, unique value proposition)
?Develop & execute regional field marketing plan to achieve marketing demand generation objectives & sales order targets
?Provide regional market intelligence through understanding of market trends/conditions, competitive analysis, price positioning (in coordination with BUs), and value based messaging, for early market development in targeted segments and applications
?Lead regional launch and go-to-market plan for New Product Introductions (e.g. pricing, positioning, target markets, awareness, lead generation, training plan etc.)
?Able to deliver sales trainings and sales tools to enable account managers and field application engineers to effectively position and sell target solutions/products
?Work with Central Marketing and Product Lines Marketing to deploy global marketing campaigns with local relevancy, and provide feedback on local market insights and content requirements
?Lead virtual teams of sales, marketing and other associates to accomplish critical projects and achieve growth-oriented outcomes (e.g. New Market Development, New Product Launch Plans, Account-based Marketing Initiatives)
Qualifications
?Engineering degree or equivalent, with deep technical understanding of products and applications in test & measurement industry is a distinct advantage
?A minimum of 8 years sales & marketing experience in high-tech industries, with knowledge in market segments like Optical Comm., IC/Semi, Advanced Research, High Speed Serial would be a plus
?Strong marketing and business acumen with strategic thinking capabilities
?Strong KPI mindset and results driven
?Project management experience with an ability to execute multiple tactics simultaneously, with efficiency, and on budget
?Ability to work effectively across marketing disciplines, particularly in concert with Product Line Marketing, Central Marketing and Field Sales
?Effective verbal, written, presentation and communication skills in English
?Self-motivated, willing to work under pressure
?Candidate is expected to travel about 20% of the time
