Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager – Cloud-based Industry Software Offerings
Focus Industry: Discrete Industries, Local Governments
Business Unit: Industry Software
Location: Beijing
Role:
The successful candidate will report to the CTO Greater China and lead the strategic initiative of cloudification of extensive and successful Siemens industry software offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
l Mobilize business cases in offering industry software via public clouds or private clouds to large enterprises and SMEs
l Liaison with selected public cloud vendors
l Lead and deploy Siemens industry software solutions using virtualization, managed services, SaaS or PaaS models per choice of customers
l Enable relevant partners
Qualifications Requirements:
l Holds Master or PhD Degree in Computer Science
l 5+ years of experiences in industry IT applications based on leading public clouds
l Deep knowledge in various services offered by mainstream public clouds
l Proven experience in selling applications based on public clouds
l Good knowledge in discrete industry IT applications
l Customer-centric attitude with excellent listening, communication and presentation skills
l Demonstrated strong business acumen, problem solving skills and make decisions based on market and customer trends
l Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively across functions
l Willingness to travel up to 50% or above
