Forensic Technology & Discovery Services (FTDS) is a sub service line within the Fraud, Investigation & Disputes Services (FIDS) practice within Ernst & Young. In Asia-Pacific, our team comprises over 30 technical specialists who capture, consolidate and interrogate massive volumes of structured data (e.g. financial systems) and unstructured data (e.g. emails and user documents).

Ernst & Young is on the cutting-edge in current trends in fraud and forensic investigations and serves as a quality-focused liaison between our clients and the law. We provide leading technology and expertise in data driven support of complex litigation cases and business issues, allowing our clients and their counsel to make informed, strategic decisions. The services which we support are wide ranging and include dispute resolution, fraud and other financial investigations, anti-money laundering, construction claims, licensing examinations and insurance claim reviews.

We have staff and offices in Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, as well as Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Auckland. We are part of a global network of over 1000 forensic services professionals within the Ernst & Young global organization.

Responsibilities:

· Work with multiple client engagement teams and focus on data analytics cases. Involve in electronic discovery and computer forensics operations on a variety of cases.

· Perform forensic analysis to determine flows of data/ files and to extract and analyze logs or audit trails from switches, routers or gateways.

· Participate in electronic (network) data collection exercises.

· Assist in preparing working papers, schedules and reports that will be delivered to our clients and other parties.

· Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.

· Data Analysis operations include working with relational databases, analytical and statistical packages / tools - such as SQL Server, SAS, SPSS, and R, to analyze data in support of investigations, litigations and other engagements.

· E-Discovery operations include processing data, running quality control checks, review support and productions.

· Computer forensic operations include imaging suspect's computers and extracting relevant documents from the images using Encase and other tools.

· Collaborate with team members in executing the engagement and keeping managers updated on the engagement status.

· Maintain an efficient, innovative and team oriented environment. Contribute to the growth of the practice by supporting executives on sales pursuits, providing informal and formal training to staff, and innovating current processes.

· Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.

· Build strong internal relationships with other service lines.

· Contribute to people initiatives, including training activities.

· Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills.

· Perform basic supervisory duties and mentor/train junior staff. Review the work of all staff and ensure the work steps are completed accurately.

Qualificaitons :

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science.

· 2-4 years’ of experience in an information technology environment, preferably including programming and relational database / statistical engine design and management.

· Knowledge of database computer languages such as SQL, Server, Oracle, SPSS Clementine, SAS Enterprise Miner, Megaputer, Polysnalyst, Tableau and Oversight.

· Knowledge of ccomputer forensics applications such as EnCase, FTK, Linus, Linen, HELIX or NUIX.

· Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, C++.

· Knowledge of eDiscovery processing and hosting/ review platforms is a plus.

· Knowledge of ERP systems like Kingdee, Ufida, SAP, Oracle Financials, or PeopleSoft is a plus.

· Knowledge of document review platform such as Clearwell, Relativity, Attenex.

· IT administration knowledge as well as hands-on computer hardware knowledge.

· Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

· Strong teamwork and leadership skill.

· Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

· Travelling is required.
