GENERIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential for new employees)

In general the candidate should have the below competencies in order to proceed further in the recruitment process

1. Understand Key measures in the process of creating cost analysis

2. Have extensive knowledge related to manufacturing processes within Steel, Alu and other steel categories

3. Analyze production lines to fully understand production process.

4. Reduce cost on material/furniture categories by applying Global Sourcing best practice

5. Suggest new innovative materials and solutions in order to reduce general cost

6. Understand how to read technical drawings

7. Excellent for searching number of qualified supplier within categories

8. Be excellent in on-site Quality control and documentation. (at least 60 % of time)

9. Excellent follow up skills

10. Administrative abilities (PC excellence)


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND CRITICAL TASKS

Specific tasks that the candidate should be able to manage after a introduction period of up to 3 months

1. Search qualified steel suppliers and manufactories, audit and cost break-down

2. Monitor Quality level (Collect raw material specifications)

3. Using production mapping to create transparent cost analysis

4. In close corporation with Division leaders to identify savings potentials

5. Obtain detailed knowledge of standard materials (size/type/quality)

6. Play a leading role in problem solving with supplier's team when critical problems happened

7. Collect and manage material samples

8. Challenge supplier to produce customized material to our factories production process.

9. Share and communicate best practices between brands in order to "break down" silo thinking/working

10. Train and develop present and new suppliers and at the same time gain higher SLA within the cost.

11. Participate in ad hoc activities as requested
