PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
l Sourcing and identifying competitive potential suppliers in Asia.
l Leading supplier selection, qualification and assessment.
l Execute new program launch and ensure successful implementation.
l Negotiate all elements of assigned suppliers’ relationships to ensure lowest total costs of procurement, including product cost, various commercial terms and performance metrics. Responsible for securing compliance to terms and conditions of Supplier Master Agreement.
l Execute supplier scorecard and cost forecasting tools for assigned suppliers and demonstrate continuous improvement.
l Work with SQE to solve supplier related quality issues.
l Coordinate with Planning department to ensure of on time delivery
l Early supplier involvement in product design stage.
l Maintain SAP INFO record database.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
l Bachelor’s degree or above required, preferably in Engineering or supply chain management. CPSM/CPM/CPIM certification is a plus.
l Above 4 years’ experience in Sourcing/Procurement in multinational companies. Existing product knowledge in Cooling Tower industry is a plus.
SKILLS:
Good communication and interpersonal skills with working experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Familiar with SAP, MRP system.
Proven good project management skills.
Good language skills both in English and Chinese.
Team work sprit, supportive attitude and hard working is requested.
Be proficient in mechanical components, machining, casting, plastic material, FRP sourcing.
Knowing well of supplier management and purchasing procedure in manufacturing industry
