Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Senior IT System Analyst to build and maintain the databases/reports and the operating environment for key applications to meet the business demand.

As a member of the central support IT team, we are looking for someone to build, maintain, and support the databases/reports and the operating environment for key IT applications. The appointed DBA/ Reporting Specialist will, liaise with different teams and vendors to support and meet the users’ expectations.

The Role

We seek a talented, qualified and experienced, IT professional with an affinity for education to accelerate the great work achieved to date and lead/support in the following key areas, but not limited to:

§ Maintain and support core Business Systems across the IT Environment

§ Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting and support activities to minimise disruption to production IT systems

§ Conduct performance monitoring & capacity planning of the systems environment

§ Engage application owners to ensure application performance is optimised & efficient

§ Review IT Systems, keep documentation updated & engage stakeholders regularly to review and apply best practise

The Successful Candidate will possess

§ Graduated in computer science or related disciplines

§ 10+ years of experience delivering PowerShell, Shell & Python scripting

§ 7+ years of experience supporting Active Directory Management (AD & Azure AD)

§ 7+ Years proven experience with automation tools, Azure automation, System Center Orchestrator, Jenkins, etc.

§ 3-5 years of experience in managing & supporting cloud computing environments in Microsoft Azure (MS Azure) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

§ Verbal and written communication skills in English
