Job Description
Ford Motor Company's Global Data, Insight, and Analytics (GDI&A) is looking for a smart, nice, and curious individual to join our China based analytics team as a Data Operations Analyst. As a Data Operations Analyst you will work as part of a cross functional team to deliver analytic solutions that help transform Ford China business. You will build operational domain knowledge, and assist in the development of consistent repeatable processes to curate enterprise data, supporting the development of analytic models and actionable insights. You will join Ford’s global analytic skill team and help deliver business value through data driven actionable insights.?Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 2+ years of experience with data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and management
- Knowledge of and experience with relational databases, SQL, and basic programing;
- Experience with data management and analysis tools such as Alteryx, Python, R or similar
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlikview, and/or Tableau is preferred
- Experience with data storage, management and analysis in Hadoop is a plus
- Ability to partner effectively with cross functional team to deliver technological solutions
- Self-starter, high level of initiative, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
- Strong problem formulation and problem solving skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear and succinct manner
- Solid written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English
- Experience working with customer data and/or automotive Marketing and Sales data and analytics in China a plus
