Job Responsibilities
To develop state-of-the-art graphics & platform power management technologies without sacrificing performance. The software engineer will be part of the Windows Platform Software Group.
? Be responsible for Linux driver SW stack release 
? Work closely with Power IP, firmware, and driver engineer to enable and verify power related feature in AMD's Linux driver in support of our graphics and APU products.
? Submit and first step debug, isolation the issues, and work with developer to resolve this issue. 
? Work with developer to develop graphics and APU products Linux base driver test plan and test cases, and develop the worked test methodology
? Work with continuous integration infrastructure team to develop automatic power testing framework 

Skills and Experience 
? Deep knowledge of CPU, GPU, and PC architecture architectures and their implications on system power.
? Solid experience of Linux kernel or Linux device driver validation and debugging 
? Experience with Kernel mode driver programming under MS Windows/Linux environment 
? Strong oral and written English skill
? Knowledge in BIOS, device driver, application software, benchmark software, and how they interact with hardware is preferred.

Education
? Bachelor’s degree in computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
