The Quality team is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.

As a Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Business and Marine & Ports Business Line (BL) based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) Business delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

You will take the responsibility to make sure the products quality purchased from suppliers can meet the requirements defined by ABB. You shall have the expertise in terms of the responsible commodity manufacturing process, Testing and quality control. You will also take the responsibility to make sure the commodity assembly and testing process in subassembly level can meet the requirements defined by ABB in development stage and drive the continuous improvement in the mass production stage.

? Responsible for supplier site inspection, NCR report made and communicated with Supplier, SCM and Engineering when NC found.
? Responsible for incoming goods inspection, NCR report made and communicated with SCM, Engineering, and PM when NC found.
? Responsible for outgoing inspection before delivery to customer, NCR report made and communicated with Production, Engineering and PM when NC found.
? Responsible for measurement tools/ gauge calibration.
? Provide quality support for the issues found from in-process production, customer site installation and commissioning.
? Participate quality improvement project and reduce COPQ.
? ABB Way, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 management system related jobs.
? Supplier quality management, including audit and improvement.
? Other task assigned by line manager.

? University Degree or above, major in Mechanical or Engineering field.
? 5+ years of work experience in Quality Inspection fields.
? Good understanding of both English and Chinese technical specification/ drawings, such as machining, mechanical and welding drawing.
? Familiar with the use of measuring tools.
? Knowledge on Quality Analysis tools.
? Trained in ISO9001, SAP, UT/MT/PT.
? Fluent in oral and written English (CET 4 or above).
