职位描述
Responsibilities:
1. Work with stakeholders to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for analysis insight to inform their decision-making. Leverage data to identify, quantify and influence tangible business gain.
2. Experience solving real problems using data mining techniques and with statistical rigor
3. Strong technical skills regarding data analysis, machine learning and programming.
4. Responsible for presentation of analysis results, data models, and other projects to Business Leadership team.
5. Work closely with Head of data analytics and the business teams as a data engineer, developing SQL queries to extract data from large databases, transforming complex datasets into pragmatic, actionable insights. Clean and restructure data based on the requirements.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in quantitative subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field. More advanced degree is a strong plus.
2. Experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics or other data analytics related roles. Start-up or consulting experience is a strong plus.
3. Must be proficient in SQL and Python. Experience in big data technologies is necessary (Hadoop, Spark, …).
4. Practical knowledge of statistical and ML techniques: regression, decision tree, random forest,
clustering, neural networks, etc. and their real world application and implementations
5. Proficient in speaking and writing in English is required. French is a plus.
6. Distinctive communication and problem-solving skills, team orientated and have a can-do attitude;
7. Strong entrepreneurship: comfortable with ambiguity, self-starter, high energy and solution orientated individual with ability to act fast in a start-up environment.
