Job description – Media Relations

Senior Associate/ Supervising Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior to plan the corporate communications strategy to enhance the company’s corporate branding


• Manage relationship with mainstream media, develop press releases for PR initiatives, can handle media requests, pitch media interviews on project basic and launch bylined articles, etc independently,


• Coordinate and implement cross-function/cross-brand special events as assigned.


• Have the sense to protect the corporate branding through effective issue preparedness.


• Develop communication plan and ensure effectively implementation. Tracking and managing the budget and ROI on activities.


• Do PR research to identify appropriate PR approach for the firm; evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing plans; prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.


• Work closely with Regional PR team on media coverage report.

Requirements

• University degree or above, journalism or communications major is a plus.


• Minimum of 5 years working experience with at least 3 years on a communications/PR position in an international company or PR agency.


• Good bi-lingual (Chinese and English) skills in reading, speaking and written.


• Self-motivated with great teamwork spirits.
