职位描述
Business Title: Vans Visual Merchandising Manager
- Develop, drive Retail Marketing vision and strategy for brand and all product categories to fuel business growth and brand equity across Vans China Own & Operated Stores, Outlets, Partnership Stores and wholesale channels.
- Build, drive and monitor retail marketing and Visual Merchandising from strategic planning to execution of key strategies/ initiatives in China.
- Lead, manage and define retail marketing organization by providing the team with clear vision, coaching and motivation to support Vans values and objectives.
- Manage Vans China retail marketing and visual merchandising budget to ensure economies of scale and synergies across all marketing plans & tools for optimum return on investment.
- Monitor and report budget on a monthly basis, be positioned to readily identify spent, committed and planned status at all times with goals of driving retail revenue and maximizing Op Inc.
- Work closely with National Marketing Managers, Brand Marketing and partner with APAC Retail Marketing Manager to ensure that campaigns, plans and tools are aligned across all channels.
- Collaborate with APAC Retail/ Store Design/ Property Department to further enhance store concept, develop new store opening and in-store programs and priorities.
- Work closely with cross functions of Vans China marketing team to maximize best in class consumer experience and ensure GTM integration with Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandsing.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
GENERAL
Continuously improve visual presence of Vans brand at retail environment
Regularly gather market feedback to further improve effectiveness of in-store marketing strategies/plans/tools.
Analyze results and provide fully comprehensive reports of Vans Retail/ In-store marketing activities in the local market.
- Close collaboration with Retail, PR, Media, Brand teams to drive the integrated marketing approach.
- Define Visual Merchandising guidelines, brief visual assets and implement tailor made solutions for own Retail, key & image accounts in the local market. Liaising with suppliers to ensure production and execution of projects in time and on budget
- Execute agreed promotional window calendar and produce assets for in-store activities. Work on brief with design team to create and keep improving window assets.
- Integrate initiatives into marketing program through close coordination with internal key relationships (Marketing, Sales, Retail).
BUDGET
Work closely with the National Marketing Director to maximize marketing budget and grow brand presence & sales in Korea.
Regularly analyze and review allocation of in-store budget to ensure results are in-line with plan.
Monitor and report budget on a monthly basis, and be positioned to readily identify spent, committed and planned status at all times.
- Maximise every single investment towards the brands objectives.

Direct Reports: approx. 2-3
RELATIONSHIPS
APAC: Retail Marketing, Art Team
COUNTRY: National Marketing Managers, Brand Marketing Manager, Sales, Merchandisers,
External: Suppliers, vendors, sponsors, event & production agencies, team riders, opinion leaders, collaboration partners and other third party partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
- Marketing or Business Degree; Bachelor / Master level
- Minimum 1 year of Retail and Marketing management experience
- Deep understanding of the Vans brand, all aspects of the retail business as well as the action sports and lifestyle industries
- Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Willing to travel frequently
- Analytical and strategical skills
- Team player, self confident and persuasive personality
- Strong planning, organizational and implementation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong computer literacy
