Acuris Risk Intelligence is a trusted and independent provider of global intelligence for Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Corruption and Cyber Security professionals. We own and maintain a database of actionable data from 240 countries and our services enable clients to make informed decisions during the due diligence process and manage risk related to fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and staff compliance. Acuris Risk Intelligence also provides bespoke enhanced due diligence (EDD) reports for a deeper dive into corporations, business owners, and high-net worth individuals. 

As part of our rapid expansion, we are seeking an EDD Product Manager, APAC to be based in the Shanghai office to oversee the production of EDD reports. The candidate is the go-to person for all internal and external inquiries of our EDD service in the region. The role involves the planning of resources, assignment of coverage, ensuring reports are delivered by the deadline, and handling any feedback from the clients. The candidate will also contribute to the continued improvement of the in-house EDD processes, standards and styles.

Main Responsibilities

? Act as the go-to person for all internal and external inquiries of our EDD service in APAC.

? Oversee day-to-day operation in APAC and work in tandem with counterparty in other regions to delegate tasks and set deadlines. 

? Collaborate with various teams, including commercial and quality assurance, to ensure individual client needs are met. 

? Contribute to the continued improvement of in-house EDD processes, standards and styles. 

? Monitor APAC team performance and report on metrics. 

? Motivate team members. 

? Assist in the hiring and training of EDD managers, editors and research writers in APAC. 

? Provide support on any ad-hoc projects as assigned by Head of EDD. 

Essential Qualifications

? Proven work experience as a team leader in the compliance, media or research-related fields. 

? Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

? Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. 

? Effective organizational and time management skills.

? Ability to work both independently and in co-operation with team members in different time zones.

? Expertise in Microsoft Office programs. 

? Fluency in English and mother tongue. 

Preferred Skills

? Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or Business, Finance, Law, International Relations 

? Working knowledge of one or more foreign languages apart from English and mother tongue

? In-depth understanding of AML/CFT Regulations, FATF Guidelines, PEPs and multilateral and unilateral Sanctions.

? Keen interest in current affairs and politics in the region.
