Your role

Are you excited about playing a key role in keeping UBS competitive in an increasingly digitized worked?

We’re looking for IT Data Center Support personnel to:

• Provide on-site IT service and support for data centers;

• Perform IT Equipment installation and uninstallation;
• Perform cable connections and disconnections;
• Conduct physical checking of IT equipment and Data Center environments and system monitoring;
• Escort vendors to perform Hardware maintenance within the DC, including health check, power on/off, break/fix, planned maintenance, data center or Infra project support, etc.
• Provide Infra day-to-day operation and project support in the areas of end-of-Life remediation and device upgrade, server/VM/storage/voice/network/security Hardware administration, tape backup administration, Hardware inventory management, device lifecycle and disposal management;
• Cover local market data support for Wind and other market data software;
• Follow up local vendor engagement for data center services and relevant contract signing and payment;

• Follow ITIL processes, including incident management, problem management, change management for our core systems;
• Execute system upgrade procedures, including planning/test/QA/deployment;
• Seek opportunities to optimize our system deployment architecture, and to automate IT support;

• Perform IT Infrastructure project coordination and management to meet business, audit, IT, risk and/or security requirements.

Your experience & skills

You should have:

• Hands-on skills on data center support experiences
• Strong analytical skills to allow system trouble-shooting practices
• Client facing experience (nice to have)
• Familiar with system, voice, network and storage administration (nice to have)
• Strong communication skills
• Work under pressure/Multi-task
• Fluent in English (preferred)
