As a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist, you will be part of the Electrification Business and Distribution Solutions Business Line (BL) based in Beijing. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products.

You will Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance and Corporate Responsibility in assigned geography. Support the business by applying in-depth knowledge to offer solutions and advice through delivery of Group-wide performance improvement programs and/or Group Audit Program in the Secondary GIS Product Group/ Distribution Solutions Business Line (BL) / Electrification Business, based in Beijing /China country/NAS region. Reporting to the Profit Center Manager you will lead by example, applying your in-depth HSE knowledge to provide solutions and advice to a variety of challenges.

? Deliver and deploy HSE training, audit and Group-wide performance improvement programs to the Divisions and Local Business Units.
? Provide analysis of HSE data within area of responsibility. Report on progress on implementation of Sustainability Objectives and key performance indicators (KPI) as required.
? Contribute to assessing emerging trends and legislation in HSE and communicates relevant information on legal requirements within area of expertise and geography. Support constituent countries to operate in compliance with standards and respective legal obligations.
? Risk management. Delivers audit (as per Group Audit Program) and supports follow up of improvement actions in the Local Business Units.
? Cooperate across functions and with business partners to raise awareness and drive performance, engages with internal and external stakeholders to build commitment and credibility for the CoE.
? Contribute to driving behavioral change and continuous improvement though delivery of training and competence initiatives and expert support to the Local Business Units in line with yearly HSE plan agreed with the Business Units. Supports the sharing of best practice. Coordinate reporting on HSE performance and support delivery of Group audit program.
? Contribute to and/or plans and executes Health, Safety and Environment performance and Corporate Responsibility related projects. Develop and report on project objectives. Manage project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.

? Bachelor's Degree is required.
? 5+ years of working experience in HSE/OHS or other related fields.
? Possess good communication and problem solving skills.
? Strong Leadership capability. Ability to motive and develop people
? Result-orientated and very responsible
? Strong ability to solve conflicts.
? Communication/coordination skills cross function/departments and in both Chinese and English.
