The Anti-Piracy group is responsible for:
- Reduce the economic loss from software piracy while maintaining usage share and a good customer and partner experience; this is accomplished via the three pillars of
o Drive IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) Awareness
o Convert Piracy
o Prevent Piracy
- Need to strike the balance between a strong sales focus while maintaining a good CPE when applying our AP tool set
- Defining and communicating the value proposition of Genuine Software to customers, partners, media, stakeholders, employees and the public at large
- Developing and executing the end-to-end AP plan across segments, channels, and products as well as leading the anti-piracy virtual team; bridge between LCA, the segments and the BGs
- Facilitating core, sub-wide programs for anti-piracy
- Making significant breakthroughs in the piracy rate of Microsoft products in China
- Defining and orchestrating Microsoft’s anti-piracy strategy in PRC; advising Hong Kong and Taiwan subs on their Anti-piracy programs
- Successful management of GCR AP scorecard
Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and implementing AP marketing strategy in the PRC sub; coordinating with sales, partner team, LCA and Public Relations groups to ensure delivery
- Responsible for coordinating marketing activities with third parties like the Business Software Alliance (BSA)
- Coordinate and facilitate cross-subsidiary execution on marketing related to enforcement case wins
- Identifying and developing new content related to Anti-Piracy and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
- Planning and executing campaigns designed to increase awareness and buying preference for genuine Microsoft software
- Sharing content and campaigns with other marketing groups
Requirements:
- Marketing, Consulting or Sales background; MNC experienced preferred
- Minimum bachelor’s degree at top tier university, prefer Master’s degree
- Subject matter expert that manages to align and cooperate with all stakeholders across the company, strong v-team leadership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for IPR/AP
- Ability to execute on wide range of marketing activities; e.g. campaign planning and project management for direct marketing, events, digital marketing and media engagement
- Ability to rapidly learn new marketing tools and skills
- Detail oriented and accountable
- Flexibility in regards to work schedule and travel
- Strong English written and verbal skills are a must; Mandarin language preferred
